1856 a very big year. Three Boothby appointments

From South Australia's Government Gazette for that year. Appointment dates March 5, April 3 and November 20. Note the Colonial Secretary's Office became, after that first election, the Chief Secretary's Office.

 Boothby appointed Sheriff of the Province of South Australia

 April 3, 1856

 appointed as "Visitor to Public Lunatic Asylum"
