Hovering over a seat
gives its blurb. I intend to add to these with info and tidbits as I go along. (But can anyone tell me how to make the text appear for longer than the apparent
5 seconds that seems to be default? If so, please email!)
There
are 150 seats in the House of Representatives. The Coalition holds 82,
Labor 65 and there are three Independents. At the next election on current
boundaries Labor would need 10 more seats (with the support of Peter Andren in
Calare) or eleven without. Either way victory lies around the 1.7 swing mark.
Altogether 13 Coalition seats have margins under two percent.
Some states will
redistribute before the next poll; this pendulum will evolve accordingly.
